Female representation on the boards of Bahrain’s listed companies has doubled over the past four years. Data from the Bahrain Bourse indicates this shift in corporate governance as the number of women serving in these roles has risen steadily.

By the end of 2025, women held 30 out of 316 board seats across 36 listed firms on the Bahrain Bourse. These figures reflect the current composition of leadership roles within the companies operating on the exchange.
